Update on Irelands Double Taxation Agreements

Ireland has signed comprehensive DTAs with 69 countries, of which 64 are in effect. A summary of the treaties that are signed is set out below.

Signed double taxation agreements (“DTAs”)
Ireland has signed comprehensive DTAs with 69 countries, of which 64 are in effect. A summary of the treaties that are signed is set out below. 

Treaty negotiations completed and awaiting signature
Negotiations for a new agreement with Thailand have concluded and the agreement is expected to be signed shortly. Negotiations on Protocols to the existing agreements with Belgium and Luxembourg have also been concluded.

Negotiations in progress
Negotiations for new agreements with the following countries are at various stages: Azerbaijan, Jordan and Tunisia.

Negotiations are ongoing for the revision of the existing agreements with Pakistan and with the Netherlands.
